CK Facilities Management x Candr
The background
Candr's relationship with the group began on the social care side of the business. From there, we were introduced to Luke - who needed a Bid Manager to spearhead the bids function at a newly acquired business: CK Facilities Management.
CK represented the group's first move into FM in the UK. It was an exciting brief to be part of. This was early 2025.
The brief
The role had three non-negotiables: end-to-end bid process experience, strong writing, and genuine cleaning industry knowledge. All three. Not two out of three.
That combination doesn't show up on job boards often. It had to be found.
First placement
We ran a thorough search, had some strong conversations, and placed Tanisha into the role. She's still with the business - and going from strength to strength.
Second placement
Six months later, Luke came back. CK is firmly in growth mode, with real ambition to expand their footprint in the UK market — and they needed another Bid Manager with the same profile.
Same remit. Same approach. We found Alex, who joined in early 2026 and has hit the ground running.
The team are delighted, and we're looking forward to continuing our work with CK and the wider group.
